What Legacy mode promises
The official description explicitly names a mode intended to preserve original gameplay and visuals. It also says enhancement scope can be customized through settings. Those statements do not publish a complete switch-by-switch menu reference. This guide does not claim that every enhancement can be toggled independently or that mode changes preserve every possible save state.
4K support is not a benchmark
Support for widescreen and 4K describes display capability. It does not establish a guaranteed frame rate, texture resolution for every asset or a measured performance target on a particular GPU. The publisher says the rerelease runs smoothly on modern hardware; that remains an attributed publisher claim rather than a result independently measured by this site.
Bug-fix claims and demo notes
The launch announcement says numerous original bugs have been fixed, but does not enumerate them all. A separate post titled “Demo, Patch #1 Notes” mentions general performance work, inventory controller handling, a font-related crash and text-size settings. Its title identifies it as a demo patch: these notes must not be relabeled as a verified patch history of the full retail game.
Modern conveniences
Steam Cloud and achievements appear in the launch announcement and listing. These are platform features, not evidence of multiplayer, cross-store synchronization or a particular achievement count. The PC specifications page separates advertised compatibility from unsupported performance assumptions.
